A Letter from Dr. Joseph Peter Spalitto DDS
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. We
are looking forward to resuming standard and elective procedures.
While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our
commitment to your dental health and safety.
Infection control has always been a top priority and you may have
seen this during your visits to our office. We want to explain the
infection control measures that we will follow in our practice to
keep patients and staff safe.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the
American Dental Association (ADA), The U.S. Center for Disease
Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health
Administrative (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies to
make sure we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance.
Here are some changes that you will notice:
Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some
screening questions. And we will ask them again when you arrive for
the appointment.
We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when entering and
leaving the office. You will find some in the reception area also.
We will take your temperature.
We will no longer offer magazines.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between
patients. This will allow a reduction in the number of patients in
the reception area.
And to limit overall traffic we are asking that you please come by
yourself unless it is necessary to have one support person with you.
Finally, please contact us first if you need to come. Walk-Ins are
discouraged!
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any
questions you may have. We value your trust and loyalty.
To make an appointment please call the office at 816-942-6990.
Sincerely,
Dr Joseph Spalitto and office staff
